Nanotechnologies are applicable to any branches of dentistry: radiography, orthodontics, surgery and therapy. Due to the tiny size of the nanoparticles, they are able to easily penetrate and fill tissues and fight pathogens. Today, many studies are being conducted simultaneously, considering various ways of using nanoparticles for different dental purposes. In this article, the possibility of using silver nanoparticles stabilized with chlorhexidine in dentistry is studied. It is concluded that the stabilization of nanoparticles with chlorhexidine is one of the most promising methods that can be introduced into clinical practice in the near future.
