Background: Pre-eclampsia is one of the causes of maternal morbidity and mortality throughout the world. It is common problem in developing countries. This study was aimed to assess the maternal outcomes of pre-eclampsia management among pregnant women at Gandhi Memorial Hospital. Methods: A retrospective cross-sectional study was conducted on preeclamptic women who were admitted to maternity ward of Gandhi Memorial Hospital in a one year period. Data regarding patient characteristics and treatment outcome (eg. maternal death, maternal complication, hospital stay) were collected.
